Betta With Fin Rot

Hi All,

I've had my Betta now for a couple of months. When I first got him he had a slight case of fin rot which seemed to clear up. But it seems to have come back and leaving his fins a bit ragged at the ends.

I've been doing daily water changes to try and clear his tank up a bit. I've made sure theres no waste food or anything when i've been feeding him to.

So my first question is, should I use medication now to treat it or do something else?

Also if I am getting medication what should I use? I've seen plenty of people recomend 'Jungel Fungus Eliminator', 'Maracyn + Maracyn II' or 'tetracyclin' How ever I can't find any local fish shops that stock any of these near me. I live in the UK, Newcastle. Would it pay buy this online? or are there any decent products I can buy in the UK?

Hi, i would just keep up the water changes.
what are your water stats?
dose he have any tankmates?
what size tank is it?

He is alone in the tank; he did have some MTS in there but we've taken them out for the time being.

Tank is 4.5 gallons.

Stats I don't know (I will test them for Phillis at the weekend).
