I have a little female and she flares at every thing that moves and will come say hi to me stare at me when I'm in bed , and she likes to stare down the heater in the tank cus she sees herself

some times like i stated my fenikksus loves to jump/ breach out of the water thats why bettas need lids which allow air in

When i had a snail, my betta Sigrune likes to sneak up behind it really slowly, and when it had its face out, suddenly lunge at the snail and bite it. It didn't hurt the snail but it would always get a fright. I would watch him and Sigrune always had this look like he knew he was being naughty.
He used to be really friendly and liked to be stroked but he's a bit wary of me right now after all the disease treatment and shifting of tanks. I'm sure he'll warm up again tho
