Hi guys,
Right now I have a 30 gallon breeder tank "lying around"(If you can call a water-filled, operating tank with plants and some lefover fishes empty
As my dad says "No more FISH" after I spent another $70 on tropheus, I think the betta is as far as I can get.
I want the plant heavily planted. I like lucky bamboo, vallis, water wisteria and hornwort and plan on aquascaping with them(I set up a thread on a different site about plants for the tank)
As I am evil and not above breaking rules, I plan to get a decent-looking, more-costly than-usual betta. But I also love black ruby barbs. Do you think they will get along well? A betta and a pair of black ruby barbs? There will be lots of plants and hiding places, and the male usually chases the female around all day.
So in all, in short: Can a betta live with a pair of black ruby barbs in a heavily planted 30 gallon tank?
