I was wondering how most people keep their bettas, as I'm not sure how much room to give my bettas :S

are most single bettas kept in about 2-3 gallons? and... are they as happy as they would be in say a 10 gallon? :D

We've currently got 3 males in a divided tank giving them 2 gals each.

2 in a 6 gallon divided tank and 1 in a 13 gal.

We also have 8 girls in a 15 gal.

The Betta I will be getting will live in a 15 gallon. I refuse to keep one in anything less than ten personally.

I have all mine in 1 US gal. containers atm. I'll be setting up my divided 10 gal. tanks soon though. I just make sure to stay on top of the water changes, 50% 2 times a week.

I have an 8 gallon tank divided into two compartments, so each betta has 4 gallons.

My male is in a 6 gallon tank, and I have 7 females in 15 gall.

I have 1 male betta in a almost 2 gallon, but I also do 3-4 100% water changes a week.

I am getting a few females soon, they are either going in the 29 gallon if they and the platys get along, or in the spare 6 or 10 gallon if they dont get along, with an extra almost 2 gallon if one of them is crazy.

My boys are in a divided heated and filtered tank which gives them 6G each. I wouldn't personally keep one in anything less than a 5G. :)

My 3 male bettas have 5g each and my 4 girls are in 30g tank. They all have filters and heaters.
