Looks like the peas have done the magic!
He looks normal again. Saw a large stool passing, so I can only assume that was as a result of it.
Both my Bettas now feed from my hand - think they got a bit too used to it, as I had my finger just below the surface while siphoning some water out, and got it head-butted and nibbled, I assume expecting food!
Thank you all for your help and advice, peas seem very popular now, so they'll stay as part of the diet, and the Harlequins that are in with the blue Crowntail go nuts for them too - think Piranha pit in the Bond movie!
I'm soaking the food more now, so hopefully there won't be a repeat.
