Betta Problem Help!

Hey my betta tank has produced a sort of oily film on the top, what causes this and how do i stop it?!

Its because you have the filter on low and there is not much surface agitation. It won't hurt him.

Yes my tanks get it now and again but all my fish are fine!

Curly gets that on his surface sometimes. It's nothing to worry about it. Only see it on the tanks with little or no water agitation on the surface.
