Betta now has stripes...

Mine are the same way, they think if they don't eat it really fast they will never eat again . They are really silly fish. I feed one pellet at a time as well. When I do bloodworms, I hand feed them. They come right up and take the worm right off my finger. If I don't feed them fast enough, they will bite my finger. That has happened a couple of times. Thank god their bites don't hurt.

Yeah, Frankie doesn't ever act super hungry. Pedro will sometimes, but it's usually only after I fast them for a day. Is something wrong with them?

What color is her body? Is she kinda skittish? I think some females just retain a faint shadow of those stripes. I've read that they're as much a sign of submission as of stress, so she may just be a more submissive fish.

She is a light brownish purple and the stripes are a dark brown/black. she isn't very skittish, she's quite a lazy thing.

Bubbles does the same thing! He is such a piggy!

I feed him the hikari beta bites - they are really really tiny - 3 pellets 2 times a day - maybe I should increase the amount?
