Hey everyone,
So about 3 or 4 weeks ago I moved my betta into his tank...5.5 gallons (his old home that he was in for his whole life, about a year and a half or so, was a two gallon bowl that got constant water changes to get rid of any ammonia, etc...) but he is NOT looking good...I think he was secure in his bowl and is not really comfortable in his new tank...can't check water parameters right now but I do many water changes and I used mature media for the cycle...he has hiding places in there...but he is constantly just laying on his side, only coming up when I turn the light on and feed him...he swims kind of crooked...I don't know what is going on..the temperature is a constant 78.
Sould I move him back to his bowl? I am setting it up tonight just in case so it is ready...I just wanted your opinions on this
Thank you all so much for any replies
Meg
Edit: forgot to mention that he is constantly clamped and hasn't flared once since moving out of his bowl...where as when he was in his bowl he was constantly flaring and teasing the cat...on purpose
