Got a pair of young Betta Macrostoma 3 month back and managed to get 5 fry. The fry have been living with dad for the past month and are getting big! Sadly my other larger male killed the female.

Well done. That is a nice fish we don't see often.

Hi, did you kept the macrostoma couple together or in different tanks?, its normal for a male to chase the female and be agresive during feedings?.
I have juveniles, a couple, my tank its 80L, heavy planted, I got them few days ago, I'm unsure if it's save to keep them in the same tank.
Any advice will be highly appreciated,
Thank you.
