Betta gill cover sticking out!!!

Woke up this morning to my betta with his Gill cover flaring out, was fine last night! Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates all good! PH good! Temperature at 78 degrees I’m not sure if he injured himself or if he is sick!

We need your actual results of your ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels to say is water quality is the issue here or not.
