Best way to heat a fish room

There are four 40 gallons two 55g one 75g two 10g and one 20g will probably get a couple more tanks in the future as well. The room is 9x10

what is the thermostat in the house usually set to? What type of heat is in the house? What type of fish?

You have a good number of tanks in a smaller room , so heating the room to say 75 degrees may be an option. If you decide to go that route, you should insulate all the walls to better contain the heat.
Here is a site about benefits and drawbacks of heating the fish room compared to a heater for each tank.

I was thinking about getting a space heater for the room I heat the tanks individually right now all at 80°F except the GBR tank those are at 84°F. I am breeding angelfish, german blue ram and apistogramma cacatuoides

is the room inside the house...if so, what type of heat is in the house and what are other rooms heated up to?...does it have radiators or is is forced hot air?

My room had forty-five tanks in it on stands five tanks high. I heated the whole room. Be careful though because heating the room you will get about a 5-degree difference from the top tanks to the bottom tanks. For me it wasn't a problem as I moved fish up and down the stands for spawning.

I would say that if you had more than twenty tanks heat the room less than that heat each tank.

If you decide to heat the whole room, set the room temp to the temperature desired for the bulk of the tanks and for say the GBR which has a desired temp of 84, you could get an in tank heater for that tank. And be sure to add more insulation on the walls of that room.

A ceiling fan would help push the heat down from the ceiling area and distribute it more evenly thoughout the room

I know a little about this. So other things you want to do if heating the room

Make sure there is an air lock door. Two doors to enter the room
Make sure that the room has all the plumbing required. Drains and taps. inside the room.
Make sure that air pumps are outside of the room. The humidity kills air pumps. I ran my room on an old refrigerator compressor.
Remember it is not somewhere to hang out in a heated fish room is hot and steamy. So you will be in and out.
Make sure the room has double installation all round. including the floor.

The house has a gas heater I don't use it though the house has been remodeled very recently so is insolated well I just got my power bill and it skyrocketed and the fish room is the only thing I could think of because of the weather and I was thinking it might be cheaper to heat the room instead

I didn't know that I have all my air pumps in the fish room. I guess I should figure out how to move them out of the room

It costs a lot to have fish tanks, When I had Fifteen tanks running my power bill was almost 4 times what it is now with none.
