Hey, I was wondering:
Does anyone here know any good websites that sell big (6'+ long) glass tanks for fairly cheap (not like $500-900 I see all the time!)?
Just curious.

i would recommend glass cages o.o
for example, one of their tanks is a 135 gallon tank measurements:72x18x24 inches (6 feet) and its only $270.
The cool thing about it is that they deliver frequently to many cities so you can just pick it up where you live or somewhere close to you if they send it there so no shipping costs(from what i heard xD) i dont think they make you pay for them driving the tank to the city cuz they do that with or without you.

If you go to fishtankfactory.com the guy has an 84 gallon for like 325, the only thing i dont know is if he will deliver it to you or what the deal is. If you do order from him, help me out and tell him Philip Waw reccomended him.

Buying glass tanks online may be cheap but shipping them is another matter. The reason you don't see glass tanks for sell online is that freight charges are astronomical. Because of the breakage risk, it can easliy cost $300 or more to ship even a small to medium sized tank. You are much better off buying glass tanks locally.

True, but the biggest tanks that I find in my LFS's is about 6 feet long. I was looking for a tank that was about 8-9 feet long, which is why I wanted to order from Glass Cages, as they have fairly large tanks.

For something that large, you will indeed have to custom order it. Hopefully, they can set up some type special delivery for that. It will most likely be too large to be shipped via common carrier anyway.
