Best Lighting For Planted Tank And Fish?

At he min iv got 2 24" T8 20W lights
1 called aqua-glo and 1 called power-glo
Can i add 30W or more or has it got to be 20W?
they came with my fluval 125 roma

what are the best lights, what wattage etc

Output per Watt, T5 perform fairly well, but they are just shy of twice the power per tube... Arcadia are the dogs nuts of lighting units, and their lamps are equally as good. If you get into marines though, and buy a halide, avoid Arcadia for them, as they are the dogs waste of Halide units and lamps... Silversun do good units, but Fluval's are really over-priced for their replacements...
