So its update time i guess.
New coral. The only pic of the tank you getting til next week
The i had an idea, Found a 12"x12" container in the kitchen. I wanted to add like a mini DSB that feeds of the outlet of the skimmer. Another root around found some plumbing bits usually used for a 2 bowel sink. Its the perfect size to fit onto the brace bars in the sump. I cut a hole in the container and added the plumbing so that it would let the water run out when it got up near the top of the container. Siliconed it all in and im waiting for that to dry. No idea if its too small to benefit the tank or not. Stopped my boredem though
Got a sump light coming this week to add some algae too.
Heres a couple of pics. Will take a couple more when its in place:

Nice hammer!
Not sure on the DSB (if it will be big enough to make a difference) but its not going to hurt. I suspect it might actually work but dont know enough about them to say for sure.

yeah i wondered if it was to small but a 12" square is a fair surface area. I reckon il get 5-6" of sand in it too

dont know mate, mine seems happy as larry under LED's. That pic wasnt long after it went in.

Yeah, for now. Looking for A 150w halide eventually. Just looking out ofr bargains at the minute.

The halide was £80. 150w aquamedic one. Off another reefer. Plan is now halide in middle and then LEDs either size. Going to build a pelmet with a few fans in next week.

That was given to me. The LFS gave it to me as a kind of exchange for the angel. They didnt want me to be out of pocket so Hey i wasnt complaining!

I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure!
Gary, you don't need halides for a hammer - just place it higher up in the tank. I have my lovely yellow and pink hammer right at the top along with my sweet lime green frogspawn and they are doing well

ohh kool! i want a frogspawn aswell! thing is i got halides i wana change to t5s
