Hi folkes! I promised I'd give you all an update on my dillema concerning my fish.
A lot has happened since I last posted in the FEEDING thread.
One of my neighbours said she would take the black moores off me and give them a home with her Gfish. Unfortunately on the day she was going to come and get them, I noticed the moores had white spots on them  Yes you guessed it they'd got white spot. There was no way I was going to give them to her and let her tank be infested. I know it's deffnitely this and not fungus or fin rot.
Ok then, one of the moores died and so did my pleco. The poor thing was absolutely covered in them :/
A few days ago I put white spot medicine into the water. Today on coming home from work I noticed the live black moore had percked up considerably. It's back fin is now standing erect again and isn't rubbing himselfe against the gravel He's been fighting this awful disease from the very start and it seems he may be winning. (Fingers crossed) The other day I wouldn't have thought he would be able to survive for much longer.
I know its early days and I have yet to put the second dose of medicine in later on when I get up.
Now then, the neons don't seem to be affected at all. Is it possible for some fish in the same tank to get white spot and others not? They have really settled in and are showing no signs at all of illness. In fact they seem to have grown a little since I bought them. They are indeed entertaining little creatures. I'm pleased I chose them :)
So that's what has happened since the last time I posted. Sorry for the long post. Thanks again for all your advice and help. :)

Beefy :)

Some fish are definately more resiliant same as us, make sure you keep water quality as good as possible, poor water quality can lower their ability to fight disease.
