Bargain Common Plec on Aquarist Classifieds

Just emailed him with this email:

Hi mate,

I hope you don't mind me saying this, but the fish you're selling as a "Hypostomus Plecostomoides" doesn't look anything like the fish listed on Planet Catfish under that name.

http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/loric...ostom/643_f.php

The picture you've shown, looks more like a Common Plec.

Just thought I'd let you know, so that you don;t get anyone complaining that the fish you've sold them is what you adverttised!

Cheers,

Andy

Will post up what his reply is ;)

Hi mate,

Only moved up here about 2 months ago, so haven't really found the goof LFS's yet !!!

I bought the Molly's I've got from Fantasea Aquatics in Sandiacre, as it's on my way home from work !!! Have also bought some dry goods from Badills Garden Centre in Stapleford, again on the way home from work!

Popped up to Wharf Aquatics the other week, in Pinxton, very nice place, well worth the trip up the A38 :)

Let me know if you know any good LFS's, and I'll try and make a visit !! :D

Lol, common plec right down to the fins, i can pick a 1inch one for £2 at my lfs and a 10inch one for £10, "eats fish flakes and boiled peas"- fish flakes no, boiled peas a little, but you should realy feed them algae wafers and cucumber ;)

my common plec will eat flakes... like algae wafers, and veggies better though. He also eats catfish pellets.
