Can someone please tell me if Barbs are best kept with Tetras or with Cichlids please?

barbs will nip the fins of the tetras hence why there in the catergory of semi aggressive fish, and i think that they will become fishfood to chichlids ,they should be kept in a tank with just chilichids in along with other predatory big fish ....

My pentazona barbs love shoaling with my black neon tetras, they never squabble or nip fins.
