Barbs & Harlequins?

Hi
Hope you can help?
I am considering adding a group of 6 Harelquins to my community tank, which at the moment contains 6 Tiger Barbs (I went for 6 Barbs as I understand that this number tends to keep them occupied with "themselves!)
Would these make good "bed fellows?"
I also have 6 Zebra Danios in the tank which manage to get along well with the Barbs.
My tank is 48" long by the way and holds about 160 litres.

6 Rasbora is a good number, and should do fine! They will be less shy if, in addition, you have plants for them to seek comfort should they need to. I have 8 in my tank, and though they are not a true "schooling" fish (you usually end up with a few happy stragglers) they do like cover, and are more outgoing if both numbers and shelter are provided for They will happily shoal with your Danio too!

Although after saying that my Barbs get on well with my Danios, I have been away for a day or so and arrived back home to find one of my Danios hasn't much tail left!
I know this is a really stupid question, but will a tail grow back or not?
My brother seems to think it will
The "tail less" Danio seems to be coping ok, still swimming around quite happily but he does look a bit odd.

Yes the tail will grow back, one of my danios took about a month,
just add melafix to the water as directed on the bottle.
