Bacter AE in place of infusoria???

Paramecium is a good first food for many fish fry, including Apistos, as it is small enough for them to consume...

What else could be there... Something that paramecium feeds on Sure that paramecium alone is not enough but it's something and they feed on something.

Check out the info on paramecium. Personally, I would choose something else to feed fish fry.

I never worried about that, If you feed your fry they won't eat the cheap stuff.

Presence of paramecium always mean that bacteria level is low for me but it doesn't mean it's staple food for fry.

Paramecium eat bacteria so if you have paramecium, there is bacteria in the water.
