My old fry tank was leaking so the missus bought me a new one.

With kids about i tend to find things can come down the stairs at great speed, including the kids themselves LOL

I have a 6 year old daughter, Fry lover. She knows she will have a slow and painful death if she knocks the tank.

Thanks for all the comments. The tank will be a bit busier soon. I found 39 more fry in the big tank last night.

Howdy, that's actually exactly the same tank as what i'm setting up at the moment!

A couple questions tho:

1) Did you end up putting a piece of polystyrene foam under it? Because the base of the aquarium doesn't quite sit flat on the stand but hovers about 5mm above it (due to those silver edge thingies in the corners). Or is that fine even under the weight of the water?

2) The two rails you slide onto the top of the tank so that you can put the light on, was this difficult for you to put on? I can't seem to slip them all the way and i'm not sure i'm supposed to unless i bring out a mallet (Although mallet + glass tank = glass bits...). So at the moment they're kind of more "sitting" on the top edges and it all seems a bit precarious.

But yeah, cool tank. I've been procrastinating with mine for about 6 months!
