I use 2 big sheets of something in between of black paper & cardboard. Cut to size and attached with sticky tape. Would've liked to use the black foil thing but couldn't find any that was high enough (60cm) for my tank
Just wanted to try a couple first to see how they handle the flow and being in sand. There's a FX5 powering that "punch-in-your-nose"...so the current is quite brisk
nice can i ask is it easy to remove the paint from the tank if you make a mistake, like pain the side slightly, and dose it scratch easily, my new tank will have a plywood backing, so that may cause some scratches to the paint not sure FX5 are very good
misterpro - i use the same thing i think your on about and nope not big enough for my tank either which is 60cm BUT when you overlap the two, you don't see it, just make sure you overlap the top so if water runs down the back it won't run under the bottom sheet
