Back To Normal

Hey fellow salties, some of you may have noticed my lack of participation in the past month or so here on the board. Long story short I was busy helping the family take care of my grandmother through her final days of a terminal illness. She's in a better place now and mercifully no longer in pain after living a long and fruitful life. I say all that cause you guys deserved some explaination for where I've been, but things will get back to normal now that I have more time again.

On a better personal note, at least grandma lived long enough to see her grandson get engaged

Sorry to hear that pal. as you say atleast shes in a better place now. so I take it we will see you alot around the salty side more? I carnt really comment on how much you have no posted, as I have not been a salty for a while. But nevertheless it will be good to have more salty talkers lol.

I'm glad she is now free of pain and is in a better place, must have a very difficult time for the whole family. How wonderful for her to be able to see such an important moment in his life.

So do I assume you are moving ever closer to becoming a grandfather Congratulations

wow so that's where you've been. Figured life was happening whether it be good or bad. After all it does seem to move on, doesn't it. I haven't been through a grandparent like that yet and dread the day. Its getting closer The one's memory is crap now and she can barely hobble around

Sorry you had to endure such a hard thing, but now she's in a better place and can watch her family from above (I like to believe they can, since my mom's already up there).

Congrats on the engagement!!!! I take it she has an understanding of your saltwater addiction...lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma Ski. My Grandma passed away a few years ago due to cancer, so know what its like to watch a loved one be in pain.

Many congratz on getting engaged though!!

I had wondered where you'd disappeared too. Glad to have WikiSKIdia back on the forums again
