When they try again (the female's stomach area is already looking like a ripe plumb!), how many fry will they typically have?

biggest spawn ive had was around 280 fry ..... ive got well over 500 of them growing on at the moment but typicaly it depends on a certain amount of factors including how old the parents are the GH of your water, what you have conditioned them on .... i feed mine live bloodworm daily but usual amount for a young pair is 30-60

Gosh!!

I feed mine a mixture of flake, granules and once or twice a week frozen food. I've never measured the hardness of the water, not sure what it is here (North West Kent but not in London).
