Baby fish food

Hi all,

The baby acei (malawi) came out yesterday. My uncle gave me a tub on terta baby min. But is it safe to feed them this? Its got 47% protein. Because i dont have any baby food. All i've got are cichlid gold pellets and algae wafers. Can i powderise some pellets?

I think you will be ok for tetra min baby food coz it provides all the good nutrients for growth and haealth etc. I think most fish food contains alot of protein anyway.

There's 15 of them!

I suppose it will do till they can eat the crumbled pellets + algae

you can also put some tank water in a cup that has a lid with it. put a peice of lettuce in the cup with the lid on and set it on thewindow sill of a sunny window for a day. take out the lettuce and pour the water into the tank.

You can powderize the pellets but I feed mine a mixture of crushed pellets , crushed Aquadine flakes and brine shrimp. They like all of these although they dont seems to like the pellts as well. But the brine shrimp how funny to watch them eat. A fry running around the tank with a brine shrimp 3 times his own size. I am gonna try mags method also. Hay semper fi does this work for all kinds of lettuce. By the way my fry are nicaraguense I think I have about 80 of them

i done a recount and i had 17. 80!!!! You got some fertile fish there!
