-_- hello . i got a new snail today a Giant Apple Snail (P.canaliculata) and he/she ? is ok and fine but i just noticed a tiny one goin up the glass ?????
Can they hide insid a big one and come out whenever or somethin ???
not complaining as i love my snails  just a bit strange as to where it came from?

Cheers , Andy

why skinny?

I'm really not sure what hes on about mate.

Apple snails are easy to care for and canas will eat pretty much anything.Cooked carrot and green bean are faves but any veggies will be eaten and reptomin is great for them as it high in calcium.

Its quite possible the baby snail was caught in the big ones trapdoor and came out when it opened. Also it may be another type of snail.did you get any plants recently?

cooked carrot didnt know that thanks :) ive been feedin em broccoli and cucumber .. it all vanishis by the morning .. i have mts as well but the shell and body is different ??

i said skinny cos he needs to be skinny if their gonna stay together ina snail

very odd
if your saying one lived inside the other ones shell all the time, i hardly think thats true

i would agree with T its been trapped inside the big one :good:

canas will eat through a planted tank no problems, they also will eat most vegies just throw some in see if they like it, mine used to love sweet potatoes, green beens, corn, potatoes carrots etc

sharon

Reptomin is a pellet food made for reptiles and amphibians by tetra.
Most lfs' will have it, if not try your local reptile shop :good:.
