Asian Influeneced Tank

well i just upgraded one of my tanks to a 29 gal. now im saving money to upgrade another tank to a 29 gal. anyway all the fish that i plan to put in it, which are 1 rainbow shark, 11 tiger barbs, 1 blue 3-spot gourami(female), 1 gold 3-spot gourami(female), and 3 bamboo shrimp, are all from asia if i remember correctly. since they are all from asia i decided to make this an asian only(or atleast mostly) tank. at petco i have gotten a fake bonsia plant that looks really cool and made for aquariums so i want to get several more of these and lots of live bamboo stalks. so my question now is what plants that are commonly available are from asia that might look good in a tank like this?

What looks good is all down to personal choice.

thanks. looks like the only ones that i like and are available to me would be the java fern and aponogeton(SP). i think im going to line the whole back and sides of the tank with aponogeton and then fill the rest of the tank with some good sized rocks scatterd about with a couple fake bonsia trees and live bamboo branches and java fern about the tank. do you guys think this would look good?

oh i just noticed the dwarf sweetflag. i can get those too. i guess ill throw those into the mix too.
