hellllllllo!!my angels succesfully spawned in july and as alot of you already know i was on a trip so i lost alot of them.so i was really hoping they would do it again...since they have already done it once do you think i have a pretty good chance of them doing it again????

Yes.. Angels like to pair up and if you keep the conditions the same they'll do it alot... But they have to be of a medium/large size ect... But with out a doubt they will :)

well thats good news i really hope they do.....right now i still have some of the babies in there....will they still spawn if i keep some of them in there or should i put them alone again :/ .i've heard that if there is alot of activity in the tank they dont like to spawn.....

My angels spawn in a busy tank, but they don't let the eggs hatch. I would guess that they won't spawn if they still have young from a previous brood around, but that's really just a guess and I could be dead wrong. If you want them to spawn, slightly acidic water, lots of blood worms, and crank up the temp to 80 - 82. If that doesn't do it, sometimes a partial water change seems to induce them.

If you want them to spawn again remove the first batch. Right now their parental insticts are still in full swing. Bump the temp up to 80 for a week or so then lower it a few degrees. As always, wether trying to spawn or not, feed highly nutritious foods. May I ask what kind of angels you have?

not sure what kind i have pics up in the aquarium pics......umm thats too bad though i kinda wanted to keep some babies

angel lover - You have two of the most beautiful silver angelfish I've ever seen. :)
