Are These Male Or Female Guppies?

im new to all this.

here are pictures of my 4 guppies.

Male or female?

hey russ, thay all look male allthough iam not up on guppys.second pic looks like his fins are frayed....female guppys usually have a black blotch at base of the fish..

yeah the second one is suffering from fin rot

they all look male apart from the last one the looks more female to me with the plumpness and size thicker bodied and less colouration but i maybe wrong lol

From what I can see, I think they're all male.. however if the last one is fem, as sum one has already suggested, try lookin for the anal fin.

Nelly is correct.

Their all male apart from fish 2 which is a female.

The fish rot dose look more like either a neon's nipped it (which a rouge fish will easily do)
Or the Coral u have would of done it as guppies are not use to very sharp objects like that.

Fish #2 is not a female. It is a young male that is still developing his color. They're all males.

You cant tell from that pic, Personally it look's female, but we need a better put clearly showing the anal fin.

You need to look for yourself RussellHope. These fish are sexed the same way as guppies but don't have fin colors and such to make you think that might be important.

The anal fin shape, the fin right next to where the fish eliminates waste, is the key. In a male, it is long and thin like this guy.

In a female it is better described as triangular or maybe as fan shaped like this girl.

It happens these fish are only about half the size of a guppy, which is why the pictures are a bit fuzzy, but the fin shape, not colors of anything, are the key.

id say theyre all males. the anal fins is usually long and close to the body in males and round like pectoral fins in females.
