on the back of our house we have a conservatory and the entrance into it is through the sliding patio doors that were originally for access to the garden. my question is -

can the slider door be moved to slide the other way and the fixed glass panel moved over?

the reason i ask is that im getting a bigger tank soon and would like it to go where my current tank is but the entrance to the conservatory will be greatly reduced through the sliding door as the new tank is a bit wider than the current one so wondered if i could get it swapped over so the entrance is on the other side....

does that make sense?

Im no window fitter but I cant see why not, might take abit of tinkering, moving locks/handles or flipping glass (some is energy saving and has to be facing a certain way). Id get a couple of window fitters to come out and give you a quote, go for FENSA registered and play them off of each other.
