Can anyone help me in finding out whether dwarf cichlids such as: Macmaster's Dwarf cichlid or a three-striped dwarf cichlid are suitable for my 10 gallon community tank. Neither fish exceeds 3 inches in size and from my knowledge is not aggressive towards others and does not need any special conditions.
So does anyone know if they would be suitable for a community tank of my size?

I also wondered if id beable to have a normal sized cichlid like a keyhole cichlid that grows to 4inches or a Chipokae that grows to 5.
Can anyone help me?

A quick search on the web turned up this on the Macmaster's Dwarf cichlid :

Temperment
Peaceful

Sociability
pairs

Min. Tank
15 gallons

A native of the Orinoco River basin, these Dwarf Cichlids should be kept in an aquarium stocked with plenty of plants and rocks for territories. Females may grow to only two inches in length. Live foods are appreciated.

You can do a search easily on the others but my advice is not to add cichlids to a community tank. As you can see from that little search I did, they're reccomending you plant the tank well for territorial reasons. This is a red flag IMO.

As ive said in your other almost identical thread a 10 gallon tank is too small for any species of cichlid, even Appistogramma species will require a minimum of a 15 gallon tank and a 20 gallon would be prefferable.

Chipokae are mbuna malaiwi cichlids and one of the most aggressive, all mbuna require a minimum of a 30 gallon aquarium.

Do you have all the fish in your sig together in a 10?

Aswell as the above question, do you only have one of each fish?
