First of all I would like to point out DONT BREED VEILTAILS there are many orphan bettas that are living in TERRIBLE conditions. I dont think we wanna spread more sufferment. If ur planning to breed this is not a thing were u go to sleep one night wake up in the morining wanting to breed ur bettas. It takes time money and the most important PATIENCE. I have done countless hours of reading articles and spawn logs by many members here. Like Wuv,CC,Treefrog,Rollntide, and many more. U gotta condition the bettas for 2 weeks u gotta have the space for like cation said 50-100 Male bettas plus ur grow out tank and the tank of the females. If u are going to breed i suggest u buy a nice pair from Aquabid,BCBettas,Betta Talk, maybe some from our own community like Kelly,BKK,Many more. Im starting to get more and more into this hobby and Im enjoying it pretty much. All Im saying is before u think of breeding bettas think first plan out everything then take actions.
