Aquarium salt.

hi all.
My tank is cycling and I'm wondering is aquarium salt bennificial in any way?
Should I add some salt to the tank?

No to both questions. The only time aquarium salt is beneficial is if you are using it to treat a specific issue and it is the safest and most effective treatment for that issue. But as a general additive, it will harm freshwater fish (soft water species much more than hard water species). The reason is explained in my article on salt, here:
