These fish are very useful in the aquarium because they will pick away at algae, taking it plant leaves without damaging them (this can also be mistaken for the kissing action).

Not if kept with enough other tiger barbs, ie. more than 6.
11. Are Angels good parents in there first spawn? Not if captive bred although there are exceptions to the rule.

No, it's a boundary dispute, they just haven't got round to making WMD's yet!!!

I have 2 male betta's in my 90 gal right now, and I am going to add another. They have more than enough room and other fish in there. Not one has a missing fin either. ANd yes they both know that each other is in there. They have met on many occasions so far in the 4 days they have been together.

As for females, I now have 10 living in a 20gal tank. Yes they are living together, but there are 3 that are trying to be the dominant ones. They "fight" for caves and food.

Probably an exception to the rule - for now. Give it time. Four days is too short a time to come to any concrete conclusions. Place female bettas in there and see what happens.
