Hi.
Im a relativly newbie to fishkeeping and have been so thrilled with my starter tank that im now awaiting delivery of a "Jewel Vision",with bow front 190 litres
I would be gratefull for any ideas or advice as to wether its best to use artificial plants or real ones?
I think the real plants look better, but are they difficult to look after, and do they need specific food to help them grow?

I'd go for real plants, some species are actually not that hard to take care off, just do some research and look for plants that don't require high lighting, I have a couple of live plants on my tank and I don't even add any fertilizers or anything and they are still thriving....

Have a look in the how does your garden grow section. Our rwsident aquatic plant expert is Rose. I'm sure she would be delighted to give you advice. For a more personal touch about specifics, why not PM her.
