API tap water conditioner

50 gallon is huge, that's awesome.
I'll try the bottle method thats more suited to the size I have and I was pouring literally just above the water line so totally doing it wrong. Noob 😆

In terms of some of the tanks on here,50g is tiny haha but it’s a nice size for me. Don’t worry about doing things ‘wrong’ everyone does everything wrong at one point. Love and learn and if there’s anything you don’t understand/ are unsure of just ask on here. Everyone is super friendly and helpful:)

I’ve put an image to my tank too just incase you wanna see :)

My aquarium is 53 gallons (but I used to have 5 x 15 gallon aquariums)

I only use bottled water (Highland Spring and Evian) and nothing from the tap cos its horrible and no chemicals/additives either.

If you use a jug to pour the water into the aquarium, just hold it off the surface more and pour slowly....don't rush it and if you figure 8 the pour, that can help too

Have you never thought of running an RO system?

Give me simplicity any day of the week....plus the fact the local authority frown upon their properties being modified in any way (and the mains tap outside doesn't move cos its knackered)

Buy bottled water online, they get delivered, I empty them into the aquarium, binmen collect the empties to recycle. Nice and easy :)
