Personally I would like to have all my sent messages saved to my sent items, so used to e-mail which does thsi automatically.

Have looked at e-mail settings on profile and this does not appear as an option.

You can set it where a copy of PMs gets added to your sent folder but not for emails.

The message comes in as a PM to me, I click on the title to reply, hit send message and then go damn forgot again to check that box, If there is any way to set this as a preference on the site settings, even if the default is not to turn it on I think it would be a good thing for all of us trigger happy, get te reply off types!

Or at worst to get it ot prompt you each time, some times it doesn't matter, but if I had to choose a default personally it would be to save my sent items.

This has come up before and I can't seem to find where people said you could recheck it. I could be wrong but I think the default is for it to send a copy too our sent folder but it gets messed up simetimes during software updates. You may be able to log out and delete all cookies for the forum and then log back in.

One thing you can try to see if you can find the messages is to look at "Message Tracker" on bottom of the top section on the left under My Controls. It tells you which messages have been read and not read but they may not be there if the "Track This Message" box wasn't checked. It would stand to reason that if the one to add a copy of the message t your Sent folder no longer defaults toa check tneh this one probably doesn't either.

Tried this and none seems to work, I'd be happy if all my messages saved to sent folder and I had to manage that within my limits, rather than having to remember to tick the box.

If its not possible then well and good but I think it should be expected default behaviour.

Great forum, Great people, spending too long on here recently, if only mainly reading.

From searching back to old threads bout this topic, it seems to be something that gets off when there are forum updates. Not certain why. Hopefully, it will sort itself out with the next upate which should be soon.
