I have internals but just wondering if people have tried these?

My first external was a cheap Jebo LAC external and it's still chugging away a few years later. It was alot cheaper than the Eheims etc but it does what it's meant to, even though it rattles a bit at times.

I recommend going for a brand name one as you do get better filtration and reliability from them. You pay for what you get at the end of the day, but if you're on a tight budget then I guess all you can do is try one and see :D

The Eheim Ecco Pro filters are good and a little more economical than some.

I'm running Eheim Aquaball internals at the moment and i'm happy with them, but i was just wondering if anyone has used the cheap externals ;)

i have one running atm, i got the one with the UV filter in the lid, the seller on ebay is very fast and well packed, you get about 30 quids worth of media free with it aswell, mines been going strong since i got it
