*Me at my first airsoft game*so I guess someone with a cheap gun wouldn't stand a chance against someone with a high powered mega capacity gun.
Came there with a $10 spring pistol and a $40 rifle.

AA powered Uzi, LOL!*my first airsoft battle*
Spring Beretta 94 and 2x AA powered AEG Uzi pistol from Fred Meyers. Both clear plastic el cheapos. Middle of winter just north of Fairbanks at a buddy's dry cabin. 40 below 0, pitch black outside, 3ft of snow. Hilarity and frostbite ensued. Good times.
That reminds me... make sure you guys have good quality airsoft eye protection and masks. I’ve been hit in the cheek/chin before, not a fun experience...Yes, it was a clear plastic Uzi pistol that ran on 2 AA batteries. Gravity fed hopper that you filled through the rear sight, spilling 3 BBs to ever one that made it in. 75% of the time the department store brand .12g clear neon green BBs didn't feed. It was ghetto. But good times were had all around. We were the kind of kids that listened to Tool in a cloud of smoke and knew every line of Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke. I don't regret it. It was great and we never did anything too stupid. I'm an adult now. Scary thought, honestly. I just hope my kids can enjoy the same fun that I had and know to keep things reasonably safe like we did.

I've played airsoft before. Not very good at it lol. I've always wanted to play with a sniper as I feel that that is more of my type of gun. If I had $400 it would go straight into a RO water system to make my 33 gallon a better place for the fish I have in there.I showed my mom the SSG10 last night and she was like, "Hmmmm mmhh hnmmm", it's not looking to good for me.
I want to start playing more, because I love it and I imagine I would be very good at it.
There is this good looking place in KY, here is the list: Kentucky Airsoft Fields | The Official List of Airsoft Fields in the US (airsoftc3.com)
I don't know man, $300 is a lot of money. anything I make from my job, after tithe, 50% goes to my savings. that essentially means that I make only $3.50 an hour.
If, and that's a huge if, my parents let me get this rifle, here is my list:
Novritsch SSG10 Airsoft Sniper Rifle - Novritsch USA
Meshmask - Novritsch USA
0.43g x 555pcs Sniper BIO BBs - Novritsch USA
And maybe this:
Antifog Safety Goggles - Low Profile - Novritsch USA
(Although that's a lot for goggles, $30!?)
That brings my grand total to $350.
(Not meaning to brag, but I have $400 in cash right now, so I could get all of it, and I would in a heart beat, but I don't know...)

I’m 15.You forgot shipping.
You're 13, right? I'd let my kids play at that age. Full PPE, obviously.
@Fish4dawin Sniper is the most coveted position, I think. There is something inherently awesome about being decked out in a full ghillie suit with twigs shoved up your nose to complete the look and sneaking around like a teenager coming home at 3:00am. I definitely agree that spot and stalk would be more fun than the front lines blasting away.
I’ll try that, thanks!Tell them you're training for your future military career...maybe that will sway them.
