You could try asking one of your LFSs to include what you want in their next order.
 
I asked Pets at Home if they would order something for me (ended up not doing it in the end). However, I don't know just how specific they can be about getting a yellow halfmoon. It might be worth a try, though!

Just a note - they can't do this as the fish are ordered in batches so unless you will buy 40 of a certain specie in one go or they house them already they can't. Also stores are limited in what they can purchase by colleague experience and fish sales and can't do specific colours or even types of betta. Plus they cannot do it incase you back out and decide not to buy them
On the other hand Maidenhead Aquatics are willing to get anything - or so they keep telling me!

50£? The flying fish are shipping at the start of september (4) For that money you could get a cracker from Thailand, even with shipping and handling costs factored in it would come in well under 50£.
Try Bettakapes for a start, or Aquabid. The list is endless. Most take paypal. You wont be disapointed.
This one comes in at 20$US, with a 5$ shipping fee and about a fiver this end, my guess is thats about 30£ or just under. If you need help let me know.

I buy all my betta stock at aquabid. just make sure you ask trans shippers about who you buy from and check there feed back. I have never had a problem with any one on there. but there is always lots of types to choose from new colors and what not. Me my self like aquastars fish. I have bought quite a few from him. always really peaty and colorful and in good health. and If a fish dies on the ship before you open the bag he will replace it. but I never had that happen. he always sends them with in 24 hours.

I've never asked Maidenhead if they'd do it, they always seem to have what I want anyway!

Thanks again everyone uve been really helpful! I'll give maidenhead a try first worth it if it'll save me shipping costs 50 quid is a lot for one fish especially when half the cost is getting it to your door!
