As a person who has had it run through, I'll add muscle atrophy to the list of symptoms. The head reamins the same, while the rest of the fish withers giving it an appearence of a long, skinny body with a swollen head.
I don't believe for one second that a fish could be exposed and pull through. If that was the case, a person wasn't dealing with TB but something else. Incubation can be extremely lengthy, 10+ weeks at least so you can believe you're in the clear and not be.
My newest pondering on the subject (which may be out there, but huore me if you will) I'm wondering if it can be airborne
We know it is in people and bettas who are air-breathers seem to have the biggest problems with it...
