anyone crossed one?

i remember a few years ago i had some expensive goldfish from my neighbour

i had a: pair of big commons, blackmoor and large group of koi

one day i came across a baby black fish that appeared

it didnt have the shape of my blackmoor but the shape of a common, but was BLACK!!

anyone done this before? im suspecting that one of my commons mated with my blackmoor

Its almost certain that it was Common Goldfish, the fry of Goldfish will remain a black or brown colour for several months after hatching to protect them from predators, only after they reach a good size will they start to develop their adult colouration.

those fish were given long ago; just before my house was sold =S i'm such an idiot..the new house im in has a pond too; almost the exact size..
