Anybody Else Not Receiving Emails From The Site.

Havent received email notifciatioins now for two days from the site.
Checked my email setting and everything looks fine.
What wrong anybody no.

I got one this morning but I had trouble getting onto the site last night. Maybe they had a server issue and things will be back to normal soon.

I stopped getting e-mail notifications for a while. When I investigated it, I discovered they were being eaten not by my local spam filter, but by one at my ISP.

Will have to wait till my sons comes home from uni on sunday to sort it out, as I havent a clue.

Another thing to check is any blocked email addreses you have. When I used my Yahoo email, I noticed I wasn't getting replies even when I went back in and verified that I was subscribed (a search will reveal a thread along these same lines that I did back then). After checking, I realised that I had blocked all emails from the domain "gmail.com". The emails from the forum come from that domain so it was blocking all of them and not allowing them through. Simply deleting that block got me emails again.

The trouble is that a lot of people enable email notifications for all forums, and then get bombarded with a lot of emails- instead of deactivating it here, they tend to just click "report spam" so it automatically goes into their junk folder. When many people (5% I think?) do this the ISP automatically adds the server sending the "spam" emails to their blacklist and block the emails to all other users also.
