The two biggest ones are just a bit smaller than a soda can. If they keep growing, I'm going to have to move them.

Around here, they are pretty common. Are they rare in England?

As another post mentioned, I wouldn't say they are rare at all. They are available in most shops but are usually in my case no bigger than a golf ball (Not as thick obviously )

I'm just after a group of 8 which have already grown to full size. I want my tank to be Silver Dollar only & are prepared to sell to a good home my current squad of fish..

If anybody knows of a fish store which has this volume of large SD's please let me know?

tanks an 85 gallon

yes the hifins get large. He'll go in a pond when he's bigger
