My tank has been running for a week when I noticed two black small baby fishes. I first thought I was seeing phantoms, but talk about a high and this is it. Needless to say some other monster fish LIVING in MY tank ate them, (I should have known) but weren't prepared. I haven't even yet given them permission to be adults in my "fairy tale" picture of fishes mine were all still babies (having brought them recently) or teenagers at least! The UFO'S (Unidentified Fish Object) were black in color I think they could have been Mollies. I've searched the net but they must be an extinct specie cause there were no pics!

hi there, what other fish do you have in your tank? most people will say mollies are always pregnant if lived with a male. here's my mollie fry at 2 days old they were quite big when born, they can be smaller than these hope this help to identify your little fishy

Thank you guys I think this is awesome we should get a special section just for fry photos. They are the quitest things. All the best to you!

hahahahaha AAAWWWW they are so cute!!!!

sourzzon what do you have your fry in????

Well i have 2 swordtail fry at 2 days old but my camera isn't very good so it is hard to get a pic of my fry.

I have fortnight-old platies, and month-old ?mollies as well. Black sounds like guppies, all the platies and mollies I've had born have been yellow, pink or red, but I saw some black (newborn) fry in a pond where there were only guppies.
