Any Body Know What This Is?

Just thought as I had the camera out that id take a pic of this as been meaning to for ages, whatever it is was on the bit of LR when i bought it back in summer last year, if you touch it it retracts but other than that it seems happy to sit there and do nothing, under the blu lights it shimmers green which is kind of cool, just interested what it is, oh and its about 10mm so not very big at all

Anyone know?

looks like a zoanthid to me

I agree, some sort of zoanthid.
I have 3 or so brown polpys that came on my LR that glown green under blue lighting.

only reason i'm not convinced its a zooanthid is fistly there is no stalk and secondly it stays that shape, having said that i did think it could be

It does indeed look like a zoanthid in the pic. When you touch it does it retract fully into the LR or does it curl up into a ball shape?

Well, you can touch them, just make sure you wash your hands directly afterwards . Palyotoxin is fun
