Another Name That Fish

Not sure what these are called, but my wife really liked them and bought them for me without looking at at what they were called.

OK after some quick research about how these fish are made (DYE injected), I don't feel so great about them. My wife loves the colors though, so we will be keeping them rather than returning them to the store in protest. I hope they do well and can get over teh fact someone stuck them with a needle and I can give them a good home.

Glad to know that you located what type of fish that you have, but sadly most injected fish are more prone to disease because of the dye. I wont go on and on about them, as it seems as if you have done some research about them, and I am sure you know how horrible it is that these fish have been injected with dye. Hope all turns out well for you.

Just to let you know. That die will fade in about 2 months and they will become regular glass fish. Sometimes they end up have a crooked spine from something the dye does.

sometime the process of dying the protective slime coat may be thinned or taken of making it less resistant to sickness.
