Hey folks, Newb here.

I have just planted my second batch of java moss and decided to glue it this time.

I think I have used a bit too much glue as the moss has gone a bit white. Is that common, will it grow out in time.

Whats the best method of storing left over moss. I have a decent amount left and want to keep a hold of it incase I have killed the moss I just put in the tank with glue.

Cheers

Hello and welcome to TFF

I guess that the white you are seeing is the glue covering the moss, give it time it should either be covered by new growth or die and fall off.

To store your moss that is not being used just put it in a container full of water (tap or used tank water) and leave it in a area with a decent amount of light, if you are not going to use it for a while just change the water in the container once a week so that it does not go stagnant.

Cheers
Dan
