I have read numerous articales and threads about keeping angels with discus. And there are bearly two alike. So I was just wondering what everyone thought about that idea. Also if anyone has experience with keeping them together.

For the most part they are alright together. Be careful as the Angel reaches maturity and make sure the Angel isn't pushing the Discus around. Make sure to de-worm the fish before placing them together.

As above I had a pair of angels in with my discus, they seemed alright togther until they wanted to breed and then started bullying the discus

Here they are together & never a problem..... The King and the prince of the aquarium.... (& not to discriminate,... I better also say the Queen and the princess of the aquarium)

and also to add.... The Kisser is more of a problem to the both of 'em, cause he always wants to pick the slime off their boddies....just a damned nuiscance....

I thought keeping angels with discus was discouraged, partly to do with a worm/disease the angels are immune to and carry but the discus arn't.

Capillaria. Pretty much impossible to get in tank raised Angels. Always worm your fish before adding them into your main aquarium.
