I want to get an angelfish but im wondering if it will do fine with my fish. I have heard that they do fine with all my fish but the fancy guppy. Let me know. I have a fully planted tank, heres the fish:
Dwarf rainbow fish X5
Spotted Danio X5
Panda cory X5
Neon Tetra X10
Ballon Ram X1
Stripped Loach X1

-Thanks in advance :)

You'll probably get more answers in tropical discussion, rather than emergencies.

Looking at the list though, a fully grown angel may eat neons. Depends on the angel of course, I've had some that would, and some that are very placid. They shouldn't be any great trouble with the rest of your stocking, although any cichlid can be a pain.

Ill check there. I was thinking the same thing about the neons. I might just give it a try. And my ram seems to be pretty scared of things so i think he shouldn't be a problem. I can always just give it a shot.

Yes this is the wrong section, but i was also thinking of adding angelfish before my cycle troubles and i have 15neon tetra.
I've been informed that if you get the angelfish young small size they will not be as aggressive when they are adults.
I'm new to tropical fish so i have no idea if this is true.

It's true D 3LKO. They get used to having the others around and not being able to eat them.

Unfortunately it doesn't mean that you won't wake up one morning to find one in it's mouth. I've had a fully grown angel eat a cardinal it had lived with for years, and they're a fair bit larger than the neons. Nice big angel though.

Having said that, if you have established neons and a small angel, the neons may well have died of old age by the time the angel is that big.

My black angel went from dime size to softball size in less than a year!

I may be misrembering, it was a long time ago, but then I was also raising them from fry, so I always had them down as being a lot longer in my tanks to full size.
