So I have raised angels for the past 2 years and about 7 months ago I got a group of 6 I have been raising from dime size. The largest female has a spot on her body. It’s white and circular. I have treated the tank with all the meds in the last two weeks and nothing has changed. Could it just be a genetic defect or like a human having a birth mark? Here are some pictures of the spot.

Looks like excess mucous over an ulcer (bacterial infection).

You can try salt (1-2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres of water). Keep salt in tank for 2 weeks or a week after the wound has healed up completely. However, try not to have salt in there for more than 4 weeks because kidney damage can occur.

If there's going to be an improvement, it should occur within a couple of days.
